According to Mizan News Agency, 5 people sentenced to death for rape were executed in the city of Merend.
THEY CONFIRMED
Ziya Mehr, who stated that the people in question were caught in May 2022 upon a woman’s complaint, stated that the defendants confessed to their crimes in court and were sentenced to death.
The Iranian prosecutor informed that the executions were carried out after the court’s decision was upheld by the Supreme Court. (AA)
