For the FIFA successor EA Sports FC 24 The ratings of all cards are now finally known. But some superstars have to take severe downgrades. We’ll show you which stars are too bad for your team this year.
These are the ratings: After EA Sports published several top 24 ratings for the various leagues, they have now released the entire database. So we have access to all players and can look in detail at how strong the cards are.
And there we discover some old stars who are no longer quite as strong in FC 24 as they were in previous years.
Jamie Vardy is relegated with Leicester City and so is his rating
Jamie Vardy, who sensationally won the English championship with Leicester City in 2016, has always had a solid rating since then and has always been a good striker. He often had a recommendably strong card, especially for the start of a FUT season.
In FIFA 23 he even had an 85 card and now has to accept a huge downgrade to 78.
The demotion could be explained by the relegation of his club and the fact that Vardy only managed 3 goals and 4 assists in 37 games. Unfortunately, his new card no longer looks attractive at all and only very few people will incorporate him into their team.
Aubameyang now has the same rating as in FIFA 14
It’s strange to see how former Bundesliga star Aubameyang continues to sink in ratings. But in FC 24 the decline continues and Aubameyang drops from 85 to 80 points in the overall rating. His new card is reminiscent of his BVB card in FIFA 14, when he also had an 80 rating.
At that time, however, the Gabonese had a pace of 93, which dropped to 83 in FC 24. Now his new card is only better in shooting and is not actually recommended for any team in FC 24.
From FIFA 17 cover star to number 230 of all gold cards
Marco Reus was on the cover of FIFA 17 and had a very strong rating of 88 at the time. Now, in EA Sports FC 24, the Dortmund star has to take a serious downgrade. Compared to FIFA 23, Reus drops 2 points in the overall rating, meaning he only has an 83 card.
And unfortunately the card isn’t really that good. Above all, it lacks speed. In addition, the shooting and passing values are still more than solid, but no longer reach the former world-class stats. For a starter team, Reus could perhaps be interesting for a short time.
Sterling with a proper downgrade
Raheem Sterling has received a big downgrade. The Chelsea winger drops from an 86 rating to an 83 rating, giving him a card that no longer looks too dangerous.
The biggest weakness for the new Sterling card is pace, which is incredibly important for wingers. In FIFA 23, Sterling had a speed rating of 90, but has now slipped to 85. The remaining values are okay, but nothing special.
So if you move Sterling to FC 24, you probably won’t be as happy.
Cristiano Ronaldo weaker than ever
CR7 has been one of the best cards in the game for years and drawing it was the greatest. And even last year he was able to boast a 90 rating. In FIFA’s successor FC 24, however, the 5-time Ballon D’or winner only has a rating of 86 and is therefore no longer even in the top 25 and is in 95th place among the best gold cards in the game slipped.
The decisive factor for the poor rating was his age and his weak first half of the season at Manchester United. Ronaldo also plays for Al Nassr in Saudi Arabia, in a league that is not one of the strongest.
His current gold card still looks okay, but no longer offers the values you would expect from the superstar. Unfortunately, his speed is far too slow and his dribbling is not at a high level. Only the shooting values are still at a strong level.
It will be exciting to see how often he makes it into the Team of the Week through strong performances in order to earn improved cards.
What do you think about the cards? Will one of them make it into your team despite the downgrade? Feel free to tell us in the comments!
