5 of the rarest things in Destiny 2 that only the least players have

Destiny 2 has been around for many years, giving players the chance to collect items and achievements that are now considered rare. We will therefore show you the rarest things from the loot shooter. Do you have one of these?

What are these things? This is a small collection of different things in Destiny 2 that players were able to get their hands on, but are now no longer available at all. You either had to be there from the beginning or you had to be involved in the most difficult activities at the time just to get a chance at these items or things.

This is primarily about armor, weapons and cosmetic items. We’ll show you here what they are and what you had to do to achieve them.

Armor of faction battles

What kind of items are these? These are the armor and ornaments of the faction battles. This event launched in Seasons 2 and 3 and pitted Guardians against each other on behalf of the three available factions:

  • War cult of the future
  • New monarchy
  • Dead orbit
  • Unfortunately, the event was unpopular and left fans farming countless Lost Sectors and other things in a stupid grind for faction tokens. The event never returned and so the opportunity to get these ornaments disappeared.

Trials of the Nine Armors (Flawless)

What kind of items are these? When the Trials of the Nine replaced the Trials of Osiris, there were three sets of ornaments that players could grab. However, parts of this armor were only awarded to those who won further matches after a flawless ticket (9 wins without a single loss).

The armor is a real eye-catcher and everyone who sees it knows that they had to sacrifice a lot of nerve to get a set of it. Unfortunately, the armor can no longer be earned because the mode has been replaced by Trials of Osiris.

    Items from the Leviathan Raid

Which items are meant? In addition to different variations of its encounters, the Leviathan raid also offered different loot. However, some of these items are rarer than you might think. In particular, the “Luxurious Toast” emote from the Star Lock or the spirit shell “Contender Shell” from the normal Leviathan raid are considered very rare mainly due to their low drop chances at the time.

But the special challenge armor from the star lock is also a sign that you took on the most difficult activities back then and emerged victorious.

    Redrix Claymore and his ornament

What kind of weapon is that? Redrix Claymore is not to be confused with Redrix Broadsword. Guardians were able to get the Pulse Rifle from Season 3 from the Crucible if they achieved the fourth fame rank “Famous” in Competitive. If you have reached the “Legendary” rank, Shaxx will give you the super-rare “Fame and Honor” ornament.

    Items from Revelry and Scarlet

Which items are meant? The Revelry (Spring Event) and Scarlet (Valentine’s Day Event) are both events that have been removed from the game. Both had a ton of cosmetic content that fans could grab to match their themes. Anyone who still has these in their collection is in luck, because (as of November 21, 2024) they will no longer be returning.

These were all the rare things and items we were able to scrape together. Do you have some of them or have we even forgotten to list important copies?
