5 mounts from The War Within that you can easily farm

Do you want fancy, exclusive mounts in World of Warcraft: The War Within? We’ll show you 5 of them that you can easily farm.

A new expansion of World of Warcraft has been launched and with it comes a redesign of your own character. Not only is the transmog changed, but also the visually matching mount is dug out. Collectors will find many new mounts on Khaz Algar. We will introduce you to some that you can easily farm.

Some are guaranteed drops, others require a little farming effort, and others require a good dose of luck.

You don’t have to farm the Swarmite Skyhunter in the classic sense, but you get it when you complete the “Glyph Hunter of Khaz Algar” achievement.

You unlock this achievement when you find all the glyphs while flying in the new areas of The War Within.

You can see your individual progress in the various “Glyph Hunter” achievements.

As soon as you are near a glyph, a text message will appear in the chat and you will receive a buff that tells you the approximate direction of the glyph.

If that’s too much effort, you can also use add-ons like “HandyNotes: The War Within”. Then all the glyphs are displayed on the map and you just have to collect them one by one.

As soon as you have collected all the glyphs in the 4 new areas, you will immediately unlock the mount.

Siesbarg

Siesbarg is available at the end of a quest line, but it requires a lot of farming work. Since you will get a lot of the materials “on the side” from dungeons, the requirement is not as great as you might initially fear.

First you have to defeat the rare enemy Tha’ktath in Azj-Kahet. You can find him on a raised area at coordinates 63 / 66. This mob has a pretty long respawn time, so it can take hours before you actually see him. It’s likely that you’ll just encounter him by chance at some point.

Once you have defeated him, you will most likely receive a “Vial of Tha’kath’s Blood” as a drop. This item starts the quest chain, for which you then have to farm several things:

  • First 1,500 Nerubian Chitin
  • Then 1,000 Nerubian Toxin
  • Last 500 Blood of the Nerubians
  • The items drop from all Nerubians in the expansion, including enemies in dungeons and raids. If you’re not in a hurry, you can just do this quest on the side. Everyone else should join a farming group, of which there are usually several in the group finder.

Once you have completed the final step of the quest, you will be the proud owner of Siesbarg – quite an impressive creature.

You can find 3 more mounts on the next page.
