According to the news of Iran’s official agency IRNA, the earthquake, the epicenter of which was in the Bender Kong region of the city of Bender Lenge in Hormuzgan province, was recorded at 17:29 local time.
It was stated that the earthquake with a magnitude of 5 occurred at a depth of 16 kilometers.
Mehrdad Hasanzade, General Manager of Crisis Management of the Hormuzgan Governorate, announced that the teams were sent to Bender Kong for the assessment of the situation and that work was started to provide the necessary assistance.
There is no information about whether there was loss of life or property in the earthquake. (AA)
