Dated to the BC PERIOD
His vizier stated that 5 tombs dating to the “Old Kingdom Period” (2686-2181 BC) and the First Intermediate Period (2181-2055 BC) of ancient Egypt were discovered at the Saqqara archaeological site, west of Cairo.
Noting that the 5 tombs discovered belong to important statesmen who lived in these two periods of ancient Egypt, Vizier said that one of the tombs was embroidered with figures and embroidery from funeral, palace and sacrificial altars.
