According to Kasley Killam, Harvard-educated social scientist, social health expert, and author of the book The Art and Science of Connectiona method would allow you to cultivate your connections with others: the 5-3-1 method.
It is precisely in her book that she details the 5-3-1 method. As is often the case with this type of method, each number means something.
Here, the 5 means that you have to come into contact with five different people during the week. 3 refers to having at least three close relationships and 1 refers to having at least one hour of quality interaction per day.

A method as a “starting point”
Depending on his character, these figures may seem few or, on the contrary, a lot of interactions to maintain. “It’s a guideline.” explains Kasley Killam. “These numbers may seem high or low for a given person. If you are more extrovert, they may seem too low. If you’re more introverted, they might seem a little high.” she adds.
