According to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC), a 5.2-magnitude tremor was recorded last night, the epicenter of which was Longyang County in Baoshan Province.
In a statement made by the Baoshan local government, it was stated that 2,800 households near the epicenter of the earthquake were damaged and 10 people were slightly injured.
It was noted that electricity, water and communication networks were also damaged in the earthquake, but the malfunctions were fixed, and citizens whose houses were damaged were sent to low-risk areas.
After the earthquake in Yunnan, an earthquake with a magnitude of 4.5 occurred in the neighboring Sichuan province, and no loss of life or property damage was detected yet. (AA)
