It was during a team dinner yesterday that Milojevic had a heart attack. Despite quick life-saving efforts, his life could not be saved, but Belgrade-born Milojevic was pronounced dead this morning at a hospital in Salt Lake City.
– We are completely devastated by Dejan’s sudden passing. “It is a shocking and tragic loss for everyone in the Warriors organization and an unimaginably difficult time for his family and friends,” head coach Steve Kerr said in a statement.
Milojevic also had a successful playing career internationally before turning to coaching.
