Vessel of Hatred is packed with cool new features that make Diablo 4 even better.
New Class – The Spiritborn
Vessel of Hatred takes you into dark jungle areas. They are the home of the spiritborn. These are fearless warriors who have a strong connection to the guardians of the spirit world and receive power from them.
Spiritborn fight with two-handed polearms. Instead, they do without ranged weapons, shields or two weapons at the same time.
Anyone playing a spiritborn should use an offensive fighting style. The longer you fight, the more ferocity you generate. As an ultimate, you summon one of four spirits, which gives you additional abilities:

New jungle region – Nahantu
The new Nahantu area is largely made up of wild jungles teeming with new threats. These include numerous warlike tribes that fight each other mercilessly. Anyone who has played Diablo 2 will probably be familiar with the region, even though it was still called Kehjistan back then.
The new region is part of the previous open world of Diablo 4 and can be visited regularly. As usual, you will also find outposts and the large city of Kurast on the map.
Since the Lord of Hate Mephisto is wreaking havoc in Nahantu, you will have to deal with particularly nasty new creatures. These are grotesque abominations made of black tar and open intestines. There are also crazy natives who drug themselves with hallucinogenic substances and bloodthirsty panther people.

The campaign finally continues
Anyone who finally wants to know what happens next with Neyrelle and Mephisto will be satisfied with Vessel of Hatred. Because as the name suggests, the add-on revolves around the dark plans of Mephisto, the Lord of Hate.
He was already wreaking havoc in the jungle region in Diablo 2 and his dark influence can still be clearly felt now. So look forward to a dark story full of tragic twists when you play Vessel of Hatred.
You can find a summary of the story so far here, but be careful, it contains numerous major spoilers for the story of Diablo 4 so far.
