456 million in prize money Netflix shows the first glimpse

Is it really a good idea to recreate a bloody competition from a satirical series, albeit in a watered-down form, of course? You remember Squid Game. In autumn 2021 there was hardly any other topic for several weeks. In the South Korean hit series from Netflix 456 participants fought for prize money of 4.56 million won. Wealth or death, there is nothing in between in the series, because whoever drops out is killed or dies in one of the games. The prize money goes to the last person: the winner(s).

Netflix applies this concept to a reality show, Squid Game: The Challenge. Because what worked well in fiction may not be so bad in reality. Or?
