The number of Hollywood stars who have never been in a Marvel film or series is shrinking by the day. Some performers were allowed to do this already more than a Marvel role take over – but often in the different (and once strictly separate) Marvel universes of Disney, Fox (X-Men, Fantastic 4) and Sony (Spider-Man, Ghost Rider).
After almost 30 films, several series and hundreds of film characters, the MCU is actually already bursting at the seams. Through movies like Spider-Man: No Way Home and Doctor Strange 2: In the Multiverse of Madness the Marvel Multiverse (and the squad of existing Marvel characters) even larger thanks to the direct networking of different film worlds.
A look at the previous ones Marvel double casts is therefore particularly exciting. Because: Some Marvel characters look pretty similar. Even within the Marvel Cinematic Universe, actors have been recycled multiple times. At this point, we also count the Netflix series produced by Marvel Television about the Defenders as part of the MCU.
We’ve already included Luke Cage villain Mahershala Ali in the selection. This will be seen as a Blade in the MCU in the near future. At the end of Eternals, the character already made its debut – as a voiceover.

Marvel Dual Roles: Three Special Cases in the MCU
Three actors are actually represented twice in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, there is one exception: you only appear in person in one role.
Sean Gunn: plays the role of Ravager Kraglin Obfonteri in the MCU. However, he also takes on the role of Rocket Raccoon in all MCU films in which the CGI character appears during filming. Bradley Cooper voices the character in the original.

Benedict Cumberbatch: plays Doctor Strange (apart from its numerous variants in Doctor Strange 2) in the MCU. Additionally, Dormammu lends his voice to the character.
