Gérald Darmanin, Minister of the Interior, indicated on his Twitter account that new air resources had been put in place to fight the fire which affected Lozère and Aveyron: “Thank you to our firefighters who are fighting tirelessly against the fire affecting the departments of Lozère and Aveyron. At my request, air assets were dispatched to support them. I am monitoring the situation carefully.”
