Jason Statham is one of the most famous action stars of our time. Thanks to roles like The Transporter, he made his big breakthrough in the genre, and he can currently be seen in cinemas with Meg 2: The Deep. The music video accompanies the song Comin’ On by the Scottish band The Shamen from 1992. Various computer effects from the early 90s and dancers can be seen, which were copied into the image using video editing. That includes an oiled-up Jason Statham, who, to all appearances, is fully immersed in the music.

Before Statham gained greater prominence as an actor through Guy Ritchie films such as Knave, King, King, he was a professional swimmer for the British national team. At the end of his sports career he was discovered as a model.

In the meantime, however, he kept his head above water with odd jobs and at times even sold jewelry on the street as a small-time crook (via Esquire). Perhaps appearing in the music video was also one of his day jobs.
