Reusing other people’s holiday decorations
Creative Karin’s eye for crafts and design has been with her since childhood, when she was raised in a creative family and always did crafts. Nine years ago, however, she started tinkering full-time and has since worked with her company, social media and influencer collaborations.
Karin has also written a series of craft books where she gives colorful and inspiring craft tips, with suggestions for materials that are good to have and creative projects to work on.
– Crafts are perfect because you get to try many different techniques and materials and it’s a great feeling to create something useful or transform something into something new.
– I like to reuse other people’s holiday decorations, like simple leftover Christmas baubles that can be painted in pastel colors and turned into bunnies and chickens! Easter feathers in the rice and other decorations can be created in many different ways. Feathers can be cut or folded from paper, beaded on the bead plate or taken from nature in the form of leaves that are painted on both sides.
Crafts for Easter 2023 – feathers for the Easter crisis
If you want to make your own feathers for the Easter Christmas, you can use collect a bundle of oak leaves. They can be painted on both sides and in all possible colors with a hobby paint.
First, the leaves are pressed between the pages of a newspaper with some heavy books. You can then attach the Easter leaves using small mini clothespins in different colours.

– You can also decorate the rice with small mini pennants, eggshells filled with chickens or recycled materials such as egg carton flowers or small carrots.
