3 powerful weapons to start with setups

It’s too early to make a reliable assessment of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2’s weapon meta. But MeinMMO took a look around and, shortly after release, will provide you with 3 strong weapons with setups – an assault rifle, a submachine gun and a combat rifle.

A strong weapon is like a good teammate in Modern Warfare 2’s multiplayer – you can’t always count on it, but it has advantages.

MeinMMO looked around shortly after the multiplayer release and lists 3 powerful weapons for you, with which you can rock the first few hours.

However, note: Players are currently still looking for the weapon meta – in the next few days “the best weapons” could look very different. However, the following weapons are reported to be very strong in the beginning.

If you want to get in the mood for the release of CoD MW2, we’ll include the Celebrity Trailer 2022 here:

Modern Warfare 2 brings trailers with concentrated star power

CoD MW2: MP – Vel 46 right at launch

  • CoD MW2: Vel 46 setup
  • Muzzle: Singuard MKV
  • Barrel: Lach-165 Zulu
  • Sight: Cronen mini red dot
  • Shaft: Demo RXT shaft
  • Lower reaches: VX Pineapple
  • CoD MW2: Vel 46 setup
  • Muzzle: Singuard MKV
  • Barrel: Lach-165 Zulu
  • Optics: Cronen Mini Pro
  • Stock: CQB Stock
  • Underbarrel: VX Pineapple
  • The Vel 46 is more likely to be known to many players as the MP7. You have the submachine gun directly when you unlock your loadouts and you should like the little knife.

Because even though it doesn’t say MP7 anymore, it still has MP7 in it – good hip fire, decent damage, little recoil: a strong MP to start with.

    CoD MW2: Assault Rifle – TAQ-56 at level 19

  • CoD MW2: TAQ-56 setup
  • Muzzle: Heavy Komodo
  • Barrel: 14.5″ Tundra Pro barrel
  • Sight: Cronen mini red dot
  • Underflow: FTAC Ripper 56
  • Grip: Demo Cleanshot grip
  • CoD MW2: TAQ-56 setup
  • Muzzle: Komodo Heavy
  • Barrel: 14.5″ Tundra Pro Barrel
  • Optics: Cronen Mini Pro
  • Under barrel: FTAC Ripper 56
  • Rear Grip: Demo Cleanshot Grip
  • Here, too, another name is written on an otherwise well-known weapon in the MW universe: that is the SCAR-H. In CoD MW2019, the SCAR never really made it into the meta, especially not in Warzone – magazines that were far too small.

In CoD MW2, however, the assault rifle has a good chance of asserting itself a little – low rate of fire meets high damage.

If you haven’t reached level 19 yet, rely on the M4 Starter Assault Rifle. You can hardly go wrong with this thing.

    CoD MW2: Combat Rifle – Lachmann-762 at level 16

  • CoD MW2: Lachmann-762 setup
  • Barrel: Lachmann Nova
  • Sight: SZ SRO-7
  • Underflow: FTAC Ripper 56
  • Handle: Lachmann TGC-10
  • CoD MW2: Lachmann-762 setup
  • Muzzle: Polarfire-S
  • Barrel: Lachman Nova
  • Optics: SZ SRO-7
  • Under barrel: FTAC Ripper 56
  • Rear Grip: Lachman TGC-10
  • Anyone who likes to put a single-shot rifle in their pocket should reach for the first weapon on the Lachmann platform. Massive damage and long range will make your killfeeds glow – if you can handle the single shot and feel like it.

In general, single-shot styles in CoD MW2 could be very strong. However, not enough time has passed since the release for a reliable statement. But level up your Quickscope snipers.

As soon as there are analyzes and more data about the weapons, you will find a list of the best weapons from CoD MW2 on MeinMMO.

Until then, however, we can help each other – write in the comments which weapons you currently see at the top and why.

The right settings are also important. Have a look here: Settings that make you better in Modern Warfare 2
