In October 2023, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate adds three new games to its library for its subscribers.
With the latest update, the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate service offers three new games to subscription owners. While two of these games can be found on both console and PC Game Pass, you must have an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription to access all three games.
Three New Games to Xbox Game Pass
The reason behind this is Xbox Game Pass Ultimate’s access to EA Play for subscribers. For a certain fee, players can access EA’s wide game portfolio and extra bonuses.
EA Play, previously available as a separate service on Xbox, is now one of the main benefits of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. Thanks to this integration, the stunning remake of Dead Space is free to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers.
Currently, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate users can experience the Dead Space remake on cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X/S consoles. In addition, “Frog Detective: The Entire Mystery” and “Mineko’s Night Market” games are also available only for Game Pass and PC Game Pass subscribers. While PC Game Pass users already have access to “Frog Detective,” this is the first time the game has been added to the console Game Pass library.
New Xbox Game Pass Games:
- Dead Space (Cloud/PC/Xbox Series X) – Only for EA Play/Game Pass Ultimate
- Frog Detective: The Entire Mystery (Cloud/Consoles) – Available on PC
- Mineko’s Night Market (Cloud/Console/PC)
Among these games, EA Motive Studio’s successful remake of Dead Space stood out by offering a modern interpretation of this science fiction and survival horror game. This high-profile launch from EA adds great value for EA Play and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
But that doesn’t mean we can ignore other new games. While “Frog Detective: The Entire Mystery” received general acclaim, “Mineko’s Night Market” appeals to simulation game lovers.
Before the end of October, first-day games like “Jusant” and “Headbangers: Rhythm Royale” will also be added to Xbox Game Pass.
