3 charged after drugs seized in Chatham, Blenheim: CK police

Three men face drug and other charges after simultaneous searches at homes in Chatham and Blenheim Thursday, Chatham-Kent police say.

Intelligence unit and Critical Incident Response Team officers searched homes on Regent Street in Chatham and Chatham Street South in Blenheim at 5:15 pm as part of a drug investigation, police said Friday.

About $4,500 worth of drugs, drug paraphernalia, a large sum of cash, stolen property and ammunition were seized, police said.

Three Blenheim men, ages 48, 34 and 27, each face two counts of possessing a controlled substance for trafficking, multiple counts of possessing firearms or ammunition contrary to a prohibition order, and one count of possessing stolen property, police said.

The 48-year-old and 34-year-old also are charged with failing to comply with a probation order, police said.

All are to appear in court Dec. 11, police said.
