The upcoming version will only adapt the first part of the three books, which also serves as the basis for the Netflix series. Since the shooting for new episodes of the current 3 Body Problem series has not yet begun, we expect not before 2026 with a release of the second season. The newly announced feature film is also not expected to be released until 2025 at the earliest, but possibly not until 2026.
