TALLINN An exceptionally large consignment of cocaine on a Baltic and Nordic scale was wounded by Estonian customs on 21 March. The drugs were in refrigerated containers loaded with Ecuadorian bananas.

Most of the refrigerated containers were going to Russia. However, the destination of cocaine is not yet known.

– According to preliminary investigations, it appears to be a batch of drugs that has not been searched by criminals in one of Europe’s major ports, says Aas.

Estonian customs believe that the value of cocaine cargo in street trade is about half a billion euros.
