3.2 million lira cash aid for earthquake victims from mosques in Skopje

157,620 Euros (approximately 3.2 million liras) in cash aid was collected for the earthquake victims affected by the Kahramanmaraş-centered earthquake, which is described as the “disaster of the century”, at the mosques within the scope of the Skopje Mufti of the Islamic Union of North Macedonia (Religious Affairs).

The amount of cash aid collected for earthquake victims in Turkey, Skopje Mufti Kenan Ismaili announced on his social media account.

Noting that the said amount was collected in mosques within the scope of the Mufti of Skopje after the last Friday prayer, Ismaili stated that the aid will be used for earthquake victims.

In addition, Ismaili emphasized that this cash aid will be delivered through the Directorate of Religious Affairs of Turkey. (AA)
