The compensation for working during the summer varies and several regions have not yet determined the level. In the far north, it is the highest so far with SEK 25,000 per holiday week moved. Jämtland Härjedalen offers between SEK 17,000 and up to SEK 25,000 depending on salary level. Dalarna plans to offer SEK 15,000 and the same level has the Stockholm region. In Jönköping, those who give up vacation weeks receive SEK 5,000 and extra vacation days, while the region of Skåne offers SEK 16,000 if the care staff only takes two of their vacation weeks during the summer.
