The police were on the lookout for the buyer when he met the 25-year-old in October 2023. After drugs and money changed hands, the police pounced and then found cocaine on the 34-year-old buyer.
When the police later searched the 25-year-old’s home, roughly 160 grams of cocaine were found in three different packages. A loaded revolver was also found.
The 25-year-old is sentenced to three years and six months in prison for serious weapons offences, serious drug offences, and ordinary drug offences. He admits to the crime but does not believe that the gun crime was serious.
The 34-year-old who bought the drugs is sentenced for drug offenses to a suspended sentence and daily fines. He admits to crime.
