A 50-year-old woman was brutally murdered and her 25-year-old daughter was seriously injured on Saturday evening in Örebro. Now a 25-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and attempted murder.
– There is neither a family relationship nor a relationship at all between the suspected perpetrator and the vulnerable women. The younger woman and the perpetrator seem to have been schoolmates once upon a time. The suspect has admitted that he is involved in this incident, but what is behind the attack is not something we can provide information about at this stage, says senior prosecutor Anders Persson.
The crimes occurred in an apartment in Örebro. The police were called there at around 19.30 after neighbors saw and heard something going on in the apartment. The injuries are suspected to have been caused with some kind of care, according to the police.
