24 hours on a French Navy ship in the Baltic

After 2 months patrolling the waters of the Baltic Sea, Aquitaine is back in Brest, a major military port in western France. The Aquitaine is what we call a Fremm, a multifunctional French frigate. Why the Baltic? Just look at a map, all the neighboring countries are now members of NATO, except one, Russia. We are talking about a mission to reassure the alliance, in short to strengthen military systems, here with 150 sailors deployed.

“24 hours on a French Navy ship in the Baltic Sea”, a major report by Marielle Vitureau.
