23-year-old Twitch streamer says she has been in pain almost every day for 3 years and is now going on a “doctor’s tour” through Germany

The well-known Twitch streamer Antonia “Reved” Staab (23) takes a break of several weeks to have her long-lasting headache examined and treated. In a statement, she explains how difficult it is to balance private life and streaming activities.

Doctor visits are neglected when streaming

What complaints does Reved have? During a late-night campfire session in Sweden to answer questions from viewers, Reved revealed that she suffers from headaches on a regular basis.

She admits that it is difficult for her to have a normal private life away from the streams. Even birthdays or celebrations often take a backseat. So far, she has also neglected doctor appointments within her regular streaming times.

Reved remarks critically: “You can see from all the other streamers that they all do it that way. It’s just kind of the standard. A Hugo or a Kevin don’t go to the doctor and look at their health. We don’t have to talk about the fact that it sucks.”

The headache has been plaguing Reved for about three years. In an Instagram story, she reveals: “Most days don’t go without my best friend paracetamol.” But now she has a different attitude to the subject. The streamer says her mom encouraged her to take care of her health.

“Y’know, I’ve pretty much looked at all the possible ways that you can have a headache,” she explains in the same Instagram story. “Everything you can think of that can be examined when you have a headache, I’ve had it examined over the last few years. But now I’m at a point where it’s really, really important to tackle it.”

She has at least 12 different doctor’s appointments ahead of her

What’s next? In order to finally find a solution to her persistent headache, Reved plans a break of several weeks. For this, the streamer who lives in Madeira is going back to her home country.

In Germany, she has already made 12 different doctor’s appointments to tackle the problem. Her health is now her top priority and she wants to take the time needed to get a diagnosis and start appropriate treatment.

Reved’s decision to take care of her health is met with support and understanding from her community. The streamer hopes this hiatus will help her resolve her headache and come back stronger.
