The 21-year-old Maarssen resident is suspected of seriously assaulting his cousin with a metal bar on February 1, 2023. That evening, with the help of a co-suspect, he allegedly lured the man under false pretenses to the Zwanenkamp in Maarssen to repair a central heating boiler. However, repairs were never carried out. Instead, the victim, Davey, took a beating. He suffered both physical and mental injuries.
