(Finance) – 21 Investan investment group founded by Alessandro Benetton, has the 21 Invest Healthcare fund was launchedwith a first closing of approximately 70 million euros and a maximum target of 150 million of euros. This is the group’s first specialized vehicle dedicated to the healthcare sector.
21 Invest Healthcare will invest in Italian and European companies with high growth potential, focused on innovative products and services for the well-being of people and animals, in the healthcare, wellness and wellbeing sectors, including nutraceuticals, advanced cosmetics, the veterinary and related sectors. The average ticket per operation will be between 10 and 15 million euros.
The fund has already received the support of important Italian and European investors, of an institutional and private nature, such as Fondo Italiano and European Investment Fund. To support its activities, 21 Invest makes use of a qualified team made up of professionals with numerous years of experience in private equity and a profound knowledge of the medical sector with partners Stefania Petruccioli, Alessandro Damiano and Fabio Parisi and the principal Michele Fodde.
21 Invest opens up to the healthcare sector after successful experiences in the medical and pharmaceutical fields with companies such as the French PLG and the Italian SIFI.
