After a very prolific day yesterday, France is back with 11 more medals in 24 hours. The Blues are having a blast at these Paralympic Games.

20:36 – 61st medal

With this new bronze, it is the 61st French medal in these Paralympic Games.

20:35 – The bronze foil!

Maxime Valet, Damien Tokatlian and Ludovic Lemoine finished the day with a medal around their necks, bronze. The French beat the Italians 45-36.

19:16 – 60 medals for France

France now has 60 medals. The Blues continue to break records.

19:14 – 5th medal in athletics

Timothée Adolphe’s silver in the 100m T11 final is the 5th medal for French athletics.

19:04 – New medal assured!

Officially, France does not yet have a 60th medal. But it is just as well! The Blues of blind football are in fact in the final after beating Colombia 1-0.

18:45 – The 60 medal mark within reach

With the two new medals in para swimming, the French delegation is very close to reaching the sixty medal mark. There are now 59.

18:41 – Silver and bronze!

There were two places to take on the podium. Our Frenchmen did it! Ugo Didier and Hector Denayer came 2nd and 3rd in this 200m medley.

6:31 p.m. – Sandrine Martinet is once again Paralympic vice-champion!

Beaten by ippon, the Frenchwoman Sandrine Martinet acquired her 5th Paralympic medal, her fourth in silver.

18:05 – New medal record

With the three new French medals (Laurent Chardard in para swimming and Mathieu Bosredon and Johan Quaile in para cycling), the Blues have surpassed the old record of medals from the Tokyo Paralympic Games which was 54.

17:46 – 22nd medal for para cycling!

With the two new medals just won, the French delegation brings its total to 22 medals!

17:43 – New double for France!!

Mathieu Bosredon is the Paralympic champion. This is his second gold medal in the Games. Johan Quaile is the Paralympic vice-champion. He came in almost a minute behind his compatriot. But this is another double for our Blues.

15:05 – The 20th medal of para cycling

New medal for French para-cycling with second place for Loïc Vergnaud, behind the Dutchman Valize.

12:08 – Bronze medal for Jean-Louis Michaud

For his first Paralympic Games, Jean-Louis Michaud won the bronze medal in the 50m prone rifle shooting SH1! It was the second medal of the day.

11:52 – Florian Jouanny Paralympic champion!

In the H5 category, the Frenchman controlled his race from start to finish to take a very nice gold medal, the first of the day and in the finest metal!
