It’s a big day for everyone who took part in these Olympic and Paralympic Games. In the late afternoon, most of the athletes will experience a moment they will surely remember for the rest of their lives, namely the river parade on the Seine for the opening ceremony. To talk about it, we welcome Jackson Richardson, double world champion in 1995 and 2001, bronze medalist at the Barcelona Olympics in 1992, flag bearer for France in 2004, in Athens… and today chef de mission for the French delegation at these Games. He describes the athletes’ feelings on this crucial day, compared to his experience.
