Two days before the opening ceremony of the Paris Games, the capital is adorned with colors and lights, but also with barriers and fences. A heavy security presence has been deployed along the banks of the Seine, where the ceremony will take place, as well as around the sites that will host the events.
To protect the hundreds of thousands of spectators expected, as well as the delegations, the security arrangements must be very important, especially since many events, in addition to the ceremony, take place outdoors, which makes the challenge even more difficult. In this context, is the security arrangement sufficient?
