Samsung takes three innovative and pioneering approaches to sustainability: turning carbon into recycled materials, using less materials, and upcycling products and packaging. Samsung’s 2023 TVs, monitors and remote controls use at least 50 percent recycled resin material. Samsung also enables users to monitor and control their energy consumption and usage habits with the “Artificial Intelligence Supported Energy Mode”. The artificial intelligence-assisted energy mode feature can even follow the content watched on the screen and reduce energy consumption without distracting the viewer. Samsung’s third generationOn the SolarCell remote control now less material is used and the controller comes up with a more compact structure. Apart from the QLED models, Samsung also unveiled its OLED televisions. OLED models stand out with their deep blacks. As with QLED models, OLED models can be purchased with different screen size options.

This resin is also used in the production of back panels of Samsung TVs. Thanks to the injection technology we use, we inject air between the resin molds. Another consequence of using less material is the reduced weight of the products. For example, we were able to reduce the weight of our 65 inch TVs by up to 1 kg. We focus on creating less waste by recycling our boxes.
