MEDAL JO. Without a new gold medal, the French Olympic team is falling back in the hierarchy of these 2022 Olympics and is now out of the top 10.
[Mis à jour le 10 février à 8h15] No new medal for the French delegation this Thursday, February 10 after the failure of Alexis Pinturault in combined. For the moment, the Blues are at 6 medals since the start of the Winter Olympics with five silver medals and one gold medal. The golden metal of Quentin Fillon Maillet allows France to be at the gates of the top 10.
In the lead, we find three European nations with Germany, Norway and Sweden. The Germans count “only” 8 medals, but already 5 in gold while Norway has 11, but 4 gold medals. Sweden is right behind in ambush.
Another change in the medal table of these Winter Olympics. Norway, favorites to finish first in this ranking, are again at the top of the table as France slip out of the top 10.
The Blues hope to obtain more than 15 medals in these Winter Olympics in Beijing and beat the record of Sochi and Pyeongchang. Thanks to Chloé Trespeuch this Wednesday, February 9, France is now at 6 medals, but sorely lacking a gold medal since the start of the 2022 Olympics.
