MEDAL JO. After losing ground in the medal table for the 2022 Olympics, the Blues revived this Sunday with three new medals including one in gold for Quentin Fillon-Maillet in biathlon during the pursuit. France returns to the top 10 nations.

[Mis à jour le 13 février à 14h49] The 2022 Winter Olympics are relaunched for France. Three new medals were won this Sunday by the tricolor delegation in silver. It was Mathieu Faivre who paved the way by winning a bronze medal in Giant, the first for French alpine skiing during these Olympic Games. In the aftermath, in cross-country skiing, Richard Jouve, Hugo Lapalus, Clément Parisse and Maurice Manificat also brought home a bronze medal in the 4×10 kilometer relay. Quentin Fillon-Maillet ended the day on a high note with a gold medal in biathlon during the pursuit. After more than a week, the French team is in the top 10 of the medal standings with two gold medals, all won by Quentin Fillon-Maillet in biathlon. The Blues are currently in 10th place in the medal table. In front, Norway is the leader with 21 medals, 9 gold. Just behind, Germany (14 medals including 8 gold) and the United States, which join the top three after a complicated start to the 2022 Olympics (11 medals including 5 gold).
