The 2022 Nissan Qashqai e-Power, which will begin to appear in the markets with the summer period, will be the first representative of the new technology in Europe.
The new generation Qashqai, which entered the Turkish market as of January, is getting new versions in the process as expected. As of today, the hybrid version with e-Power technology, which Nissan Turkey executives brought to the forefront at the launch event, is starting to get detailed in the European market. In the model, whose technical details are shared by official sources, we see that a completely different structure is positioned compared to the Juke Hybrid. The 2022 Nissan Qashqai e-Power, which is the first representative of the technology in the European market, which was first used in Japan over the Note model in 2017, will have the keys to a more economical driving experience with its electric driving capabilities.

Unlike the Juke, the Qashqai e-Power, powered by a unit that Nissan built on the basis of a 1.5-liter gasoline engine, can be preferred with a single power option. The variable compression ratio technology located in the 1.5-liter turbocharged three-cylinder engine is responsible for automatically adjusting the compression rating, which varies between 8:1 and 14:1 depending on the driving character. In the combination of the system, in which this engine is completed with an electric motor and a battery, we see that 188 horsepower and 330 Nm torque values emerge. Among the prominent figures of the version, consumption and carbon emissions draw attention. Qashqai e-Power, which is given a mixed consumption value of 5.3 liters at the factory, also emits 119 grams of carbon per kilometer. The model, in which the “e-Pedal” system, which allows Nissan to perform the gas-brake operation with a single pedal, is also positioned, will be equipped with the highest level assistants of the family on the security side.
