Joining the party after the hatchback launched last month, the 2022Hyundai HB20S has reached a more satisfactory level with important revisions.
The HB20, the first model series offered by Hyundai specifically for the Brazilian market, is brought to the level of current market dynamics with the 2022 model year. The new versions, which were introduced with the hatchback body type in July, were included in the sedan with August. Hyundai HB20S, which will continue its adventure as a direct competitor with models such as Volkswagen Virtus in Brazil, now feels better with its design as well as hardware.

On the design side, the front and rear characteristic parts of the model are shared with the hatchback, and the differences in the sedan body type become apparent as you move towards the rear. One of the equipment that will make itself felt with the new model year will be full-LED lighting. This unit takes night driving to a new level as well as the modernity it brings to the design. On the cockpit side of the HB20S, the design genes feel a little behind compared to the European market. For hardware, this is certainly not the case. The digital driver panel and the 8-inch multimedia screen with Apple CarPlay-Android Auto support will not look like European models in the user experience. The European side is also supported by security. Here; New generation active and passive driving-safety supports such as lane tracking assistant, blind spot warning and collision warnings will be offered to users.

Under the hood of the HB20S, there will be a 1.0-liter engine. Coming with an atmospheric 80 PS power at the entry level, this engine can transfer up to 120 PS power to the ground with its turbo support. On the transmission side, besides the manual, a 6-speed automatic is also on the list. The 2022 Hyundai HB20S will be available in Brazil for a starting price of $16,621. In higher versions, this figure can stretch up to $23,413.
