20,000 readers of the ranking site Ranker.com recently identified their most hated series character. First place will come as no surprise to Game of Thrones fans in particular. But he’s not the biggest monster on the list. Spoilers follow.
A Game of Thrones teenager is the most hated series character of all time
The top rank is taken by Joffrey Baratheon (Jack Gleeson), who will become King of Westeros from the first season of Game of Thrones. The character is an annoying mix of ignorance, arrogance and sadism. Out of pure bloodlust, he has fan favorite Ned Stark (Sean Bean) executed. Shortly afterwards he presents his tormented daughter Sansa (Sophie Turner) the severed head. When he dies a painful death in Season 4, there were probably not many tears shed, either inside or outside the world of the show.

Breaking Bad character doesn’t deserve 3rd place and the real monster is 4th
Joffrey is followed by his Game of Thrones colleague Ramsay Bolton (Iwan Rheon), who also owes his second place to his sadism. Things are completely different for Breaking Bad character Skyler White (Anna Gunn) in third place.
The wife of main character Walter White (Bryan Cranston) is not a villain. However, she is seen by many fans (via CBR) as a bad spouse who at times Criticized man with cancer at every opportunity and later benefits from his drug dealings, for which she simultaneously blames him. But even if she keeps getting in the way of Walter’s fascinating gangster rise, she actually has no place among the sometimes monstrous villains on the list.
