200 evacuated from trains in Austria

Around 200 people have been evacuated from the train that caught fire inside a tunnel in Austria on Wednesday evening.

About 40 passengers suffered minor injuries, probably after inhaling smoke, the police say.

The train, which was traveling from Vienna to Amsterdam in the Netherlands, caught fire inside the 16-kilometer-long Terfener tunnel near the city of Innsbruck. According to the state railway company OEBB, the fire was caused by a cable breaking.
