20-year-old Topi Keskinen stole the show in his first league game after a comical mistake – showing off his ‘fishing Wayne Rooney’ tattoo

HJK defeated Honga 2–0 in the most anticipated match of the opening round of the Veikkausliiga. The 20-year-old Topi Keskinen, who played his first Veikkausliiga game, was responsible for the strongest performance of the evening.

The Veikkausliiga season started all over Finland. Töölö saw the meeting between the pre-favorites of the series HJK and Honga, where the reigning Finnish champion showed his strength.

HJK won the match 2–0 Atomu Tanaka and Bojan Radulovic with goals. The people from Helsinki always stayed there in the match, even though the people from Espoo struggled at the beginning. Especially in the second period, “Klubi” took over the game, freezing Honga’s ball game.

However, HJK’s young winger came into the show’s spotlight Top Middle. The Pikkuhuuhkajie midfielder, who moved from Ykkönen Mikkeli’s Palloilijos to Helsinki before the season, was the most visible player on the field. The 20-year-old winger, who challenged opponents without prejudice, provided the key pass for Tanaka’s opening goal.

Keskinen entered the match as a substitute already in the opening half. Excellent performance Anthony Olusanya had to leave the field due to injury.

– Of course, I wasn’t prepared to go on the field so early, but that’s okay, I got into the game well, Keskinen said in an interview with Urheilu after the match.

Very well. Keskenen brought power to the wing lane, which Honga’s players were buzzing with. Among other things, Keskinen took the captain of Espoo Henri Aalto a couple of times to a kebab kiosk.

Keskinen is an interesting player in all aspects. The skilled soccer player also has one of the most interesting tattoos in the Veikkausliiga. Keskinen’s left hand has a tattoo of an English football legend Wayne Rooney fish.

From what can be found on HJK’s website from the interview (you move to another service) it turns out that Rooney is Keskinen’s favorite player and fishing is the young talent’s hobby.

– I designed it myself, it also has a background from one of the series that I have watched. But, I don’t know if it’s special, it depends on who is watching it! Black is not special, it’s just good! Keskinen himself stated about his tattoos in a TV interview.
