Are you looking for accessories or gadgets that you can buy for Prime Day? MeinMMO editor Benedikt Schlotmann presents two mice that he would buy again and again. You can get the two devices really cheap.

Many gamers buy a gaming mouse because they often offer many additional functions that an office mouse does not have.

In my time as an editor for MeinMMO and privately, I have now bought over 20 gaming mice. Two of them are really cheap thanks to Prime Day on Amazon. And the two mice are among my absolute recommendations.

In this article I will explain what they are, why I can recommend them and would buy them again.

My first tip: Roccat Kone Aimo Remastered

Why do I like this mouse so much? When it comes to gaming mice, my girlfriend and I agree on the Aimo Remastered: We both think the ergonomics are really good, both I with my big hands and my girlfriend with her smaller hands. Roccat did not achieve this level of perfection with the Kone XP that I was able to test, although it is also really good.

In addition to the ergonomics, I also like the surface of the mouse, which prevents the mouse from getting dirty. The lighting and design also make the Kone Aimo Remastered one of my favorites. Only the design of the SteelSeries Rival 5, which I was able to test, I tend to like a little better.

Roccat Kone Aimo Remastered review – the best ergonomic gaming mouse?

What do I not like? The biggest weakness of the mouse is the scroll wheel. Many people who have already bought this mouse will confirm this to you: If you turn in one direction, the mouse wheel may not scroll properly in one direction or no longer click properly.

These errors are incredibly annoying in the long run, but I don’t want to do without the mouse itself because it simply feels good in the hand. And I’ve been using the mouse for 3 years now and otherwise the mouse is tip top. One thing that bothers me too: the mouse cable is not detachable.

The Kone AIMO Remastered (left) with its new sister, the Kone XP. This offers more buttons than the Remastered, but not as great ergonomics.

For whom is the mouse recommended? If you are looking for a gaming mouse for many different genres and like to play shooters, strategy games or casual games like me, then I can highly recommend this mouse to you.

The Kone Aimo Remastered is not exactly light with its weight of 130 grams. If you play with low DPI values and move your mouse around a lot, then the mouse will probably be too heavy for you in the long term. Here my recommendation would be the SteelSeries Prime Mini, because it weighs just 60 grams and does not have the honeycomb pattern.

For 38.42 euros you get a strong mouse if you don’t want to commit yourself to a genre and don’t mind the heavy weight of the mouse:

My second tip: Logitech G502 Hero Lightspeed

Why do I like the mouse so much? The G502 Hero Lightspeed offers comfortable ergonomics and feels secure thanks to the gentle ribbing in the thumb area. The lighting is restrained, which is very pleasant if you usually have RGB mice on the table.

The mouse wheel is also unique, because it can scroll indefinitely without resistance. I like to use this for long texts. Razer has now copied that with the Basilisk V3, but I still like the original from Logitech best.

Simple but highly precise: the G502 Hero (here in the wired version).

I’ve been using the G502 Hero for about 2 years now and haven’t had any problems during that time. The mouse wheel works perfectly and so do the buttons. The mouse feet under the mouse only seem a bit worn now. So I rate the durability as positive.

With the G502 Hero you can also adjust the weight with additional weights. Personally, however, I have never used the feature because the mouse is already heavy enough for me with its weight of 114 grams. And weight is one point where the SteelSeries competition secretly outperforms it:

SteelSeries Rival 5 vs Logitech G502 Hero – Will the new Rival beat the world’s best-selling mouse?

What do I not like? Logitech installs a micro USB port as the charging port. This is simply no longer up-to-date, when almost all manufacturers now rely on USB-C. The idea of charging the G502 with Powerplay technology sounds great at first. But the mouse pad costs exactly the same as the mouse. So I stick with the standard pad and charge the mouse every three days. Small hands can’t reach all the buttons either: my girlfriend complains that she can’t reach the shooter button in the thumb area.

For whom is the mouse recommended? Like the Roccat mouse, the Logitech G502 Hero is an all-rounder. Thanks to its many buttons, you can play almost any game with it, from shooters to MMOs. This is also the reason why I still like using it to this day.

As with the Kone, the heavy weight of the Logitech G502 Hero is a factor you should be aware of. At 114 grams, the Lightspeed variant is also 7 grams lighter than the normal G502. For 69.99 euros you get a really good all-round gaming mouse without a cable.
