Almost two years since Windjammers 2 was released and like that, without warning, DotEmu lets us know that the game is now benefiting from a big update. It is in fact possible to enrich the content of the game with two new characters, namely the android Jamma GX03 and the muscular Polish woman Anna Szalinky. The android was created by Todemu, the major sponsor of the league and has a balanced style, just to please as many people as possible. As for the Polish Anna Szalinky, we learn that she is an orphan who escaped from the circus where she grew up, who built herself up on her own, with the strength of her arms and her muscles. It is therefore less mobile, but has unrivaled striking force. Oh yes, his ultimate goal is to take revenge on circuses that mistreat animals.
These two new characters arrive with 2 new game modes, namely “Lessons” and “Training”. The Lessons aim to teach us to master all the subtleties of Windjammers, from movements to shots (lob, curve, slap and drop) including jumps and Super Shots. It is then widely recommended to put them into practice against the AI in Training mode, provided with several settings such as the level of difficulty or the filling of the gauges. Obviously, these two modes should have been implemented when the game was released in early 2022, but DotEmu did not consider it necessary to have them at launch. Still, this booster shot will perhaps attract newcomers, who will be able to face all players from around the world, regardless of the platform on which they play since crossplay has been activated.
