Cailee Spaney in Civil War
Cailee Spaeny has made an impressive career leap in her younger years as an actress. After her first appearances in films such as Bad Times at the El Royale and series such as Devs and Mare of Easttown, we have already seen her this year as Priscilla Presley in Sofia Coppola’s film and her impressive performance as a war photographer in Alex Garland’s action film Civil War This year she will also play a leading role in Fede Alvarez’s new Alien film.
When looking at the cast of the first two Knives Out films, it is noticeable that Johnson has a good eye for the right mix of long-standing stars (like Jamie Lee Curtis and Edward Norton) and trendy newcomers (like Jaeden Martell and Jessica Henwick). He seems to be staying true to this motto with the casting of the two breakout stars in the third film. Now we just have to wait and see whether our dream cast of other Knives Out stars will coincide with Rian Johnson’s other cast from Wake Up Dead Man.
