Wilmer Bach-Lundin had just graduated when he took on the hot seat in “Postcode Millionaire”. The quiz show has been on TV4 since 2005 and during that time only 12 people have managed to win the million. But now there was an increase when 19-year-old Wilmer Bach-Lundin claimed the big win. That makes him the youngest winner in the program’s history.
The million-dollar question: “Right up my alley”
When Wilmer had six questions left, he also only had one lifeline left. But despite that, he managed to make it all the way to the finish line.
– It was really stuff that was right up my alley. The million question was, after all, a question of Madonna and they put it to a 19-year-old gay man from Stockholm. So it was super fun, he says The evening paper.
The final question, the million question, was which of the people Madonna does not mention in her song “Vouge”. The options were: Elizabeth Taylor, Ginger Rogers, Greta Garbo and Rita Hayworth. Of which Elizabeth Taylor was the correct answer that Wilmer ticked.

Wilmer did it for the winnings
Before Wilmer took part in the program, he was a “loose punk” and the win was truly a lifesaver for him.
– Some participants say they are broke, but they have a savings account of SEK 100,000. I really had zero kroner. So it’s absolutely fun that I’m the youngest, but I probably haven’t reflected on it that much, because I’ve only thought about what an incredible difference it has made in my life, he tells the newspaper.
In the program he says that it would be fun to go on a trip if he won, which he has done. But the money was also enough for other things.
– I was actually about to buy an apartment. But I decided to let the money grow a little in mutual funds actually. But I have also traveled a bit, shorter trips with friends to Rome and Spain. But nothing grand yet, he tells the newspaper.
