A 19-year-old man has been arrested after the powerful car explosion at a residence in Laröd outside Helsingborg last weekend. He is suspected on probable grounds of aiding and abetting attempted murder and aiding and abetting serious devastation, reports P4 Malmöhus.
The powerful detonation, which was heard several kilometers away, blew up a car and also damaged houses and other cars. One person was very close by, but escaped relatively unharmed.
– We see that there are connections to other more serious crimes that have taken place, Helsingborg’s police chief Karim Ottosson has previously told SVT Nyheter Helsingborg.
The incident is one of several explosions in the Helsingborg area this year.
