It was just before 12 on March 28 last year when a person dressed in black, masked with a blue mask, rushed into the Delta gym in central Stockholm. With a raised gun, he then ran downstairs – according to the prosecutor, with the aim of shooting dead a man from the motorcycle gang Bandidos who was training in the facility at the time. Gym-goer and father of several children Fredrik Andersson, 54, saw it. With his hands he tried to stop the gunman and wrestle him down. In the commotion that ensued, three shots were fired, and one of them hit Fredrik Andersson in the head. His life could not be saved. Equivalent to 18 years in prison Four people, one of whom is a 17-year-old boy today, were charged with involvement in the crime. Today, the Stockholm District Court announced its verdict. The 17-year-old is sentenced to closed youth care for 2 years and 11 months for murder and aggravated weapons offences, but is acquitted of attempted murder of the Bandidos man. He is also convicted of public destruction after throwing a hand grenade at a restaurant in Stockholm. According to the district court, the punishment for an adult would have been 18 years in prison. The three others in the case are celebrated for involvement in the shooting. Two of them, on the other hand, are convicted of drug offences. Several dna traces The evidence that the prosecutor presented during the trial consisted of, among other things, a series of witness interviews and technical findings. A sleeve at the murder scene contained the 17-year-old’s DNA. When the police carried out a house search in an apartment in which the defendants are said to have stayed, the murder weapon was found. In addition, there was a blue mouthguard where the 17-year-old’s DNA was found together with blood from Fredrik Andersson. According to the prosecutor, there is no clear motive behind the plans to kill the Bandidos man. One theory that the police have is that it could be a conflict between the Bridge network and the motorcycle gang after a failed drug deal.
