    An assailant attacked a dance studio in Southport, UK, during a Taylor Swift-themed dance class on Monday.

    The dance course was aimed at children in grades 2–6. Three girls, Bebe, 6, Elsie, 7, and Alice, 9, have died after the stabbing. Another nine were injured, six of them seriously.

    Two of the injured children have been allowed to leave the children’s hospital, reports Sky News.

    17-year-old detained on suspicion of murder

    The perpetrator is said to have taken a taxi to the dance studio and attacked the children and the dance teachers with a knife. Bloody scenes, like a horror movie, witnesses have described to Sky News.

    Today, the suspected perpetrator, 17-year-old Axel Rudakubana, who is suspected of being behind the crime in Southportpojke, was arrested. He allegedly used a “bent kitchen knife”.

    The teenager covered her face with her top for most of the hearing and did not speak.

    He is currently in court, at Liverpool Crown Court.
