Three men have been detained on suspicion of having helped a 17-year-old boy escape from a Sis home outside Uppsala earlier this week, Upsala Nya Tidning reports.
The three are on probable grounds suspected of promoting escape.
According to media reports, the boy was convicted for the bombing of a restaurant on Södermalm in Stockholm last winter.
The escape happened on Wednesday and the boy was picked up in a car. A few hours later, the car was stopped in Stockholm.
In addition to the 17-year-old, there were also the three men in the vehicle, who have now been arrested.
