It was in April last year that the 16-year-old boy was tricked into an address in the Navestad district in Norrköping. At the scene he was shot to death with several shots.
Now two men are convicted of the murder. It is about two men aged 25-a resident in Norrköping and one in the Gothenburg area.
The man from Norrköping is convicted of serious weapons crime and assisting in murder to prison for 13 years and nine months. The man from Gothenburg is convicted of preparation for murder, murder and serious weapons crime for life imprisonment. Both men have denied crime during the investigation.
– The minimum penalty for assisting in murder is ten years in prison. The man is also convicted of serious weapons crime. When assessing the assistance, it has been considered extremely aggravating that the murder has been carefully planned and carried out with firearms in public places, says Evelina Englund, lawman and chair of the case in a press release.
The men will also pay damages to the murdered 16-year-old’s parents and siblings.
Death list spread
The murder is believed to be a part of an ongoing gang conflict in Norrköping with several parties, where one of the groups has strong links to Navestad. After the murder, a death list spread on social media where more names of people to die were listed.
