A 16-year-old boy is detained on suspicion of aiding and abetting murder after the shooting in Vällingby on New Year’s Eve.
It was on New Year’s Eve that three young men were found shot outside McDonalds in the center of Vällingby. A man, in his 20s, later died in hospital.
The shooting was part of a wave of violence that spread across the Stockholm area around the weekends. Shootings and explosions occurred in, among other places, Rinkeby, Enskededalen, Farsta, Jordbro and Grimsta, which is close to Vällingby.
