It was when the police were to check the car and signaled with the blue light that the driver accelerated and drove straight into the police car. The car was so badly damaged that it had to be salvaged, but the police escaped damage.
After the collision, the 16-year-old fled the scene with his car. Later, the car was found parked nearby and the 16-year-old was arrested on suspicion of the crime. He was arrested during the night and is now suspected of, among other things, gross sabotage against blue light activities and illegal driving.
